Default Age shall not improve intelligence!!!!!

OMG I'm a f$^&%^#g idiot!!!! Let's all vote:
1. I'm an idiot.
2. I'm a bloody idiot.
3. I need a good spanking (any volunteers? LOL).
Just finished a 12 hr day shift, 7-7, have my first Porsche Club Cairns meeting to attend tomorrow, so to save time. It's been raining here for 10 days straight, I decide to cut corners and take Bruce through the laser wash at McSuds. Go the whole hog. Wash wax, yada, yada. Save me time in the morning in getting the car looking nice. Yeah right!
Go through the process and then drive the 20km home.
I have to see how the clean turned out.
I am an idiot! Once burned , twice shy!
I turn on the light in the garage to check it out.
My carefully applied (over the last 3 weeks!) red restore polish has all been stripped off and the car is nice and clean and shiny, but looks another 20 years older!
Why is it that as we grow older we don't learn to be more careful?
I luv this thing. I have nurtured this car. I have enjoyed making it look nice. Now I've screwed all my hard work.
I am now going to have to get a pro cut and polish done just so you can tell that it's guards red!
Excuse the french, but, ****!!!! I'm an idiot.
Please feel free to add your opinion of my intelligence!!!

Beeg,

2 weeks hand wetsanding down to 2000 grit, then a day on rubbing/polishing compound- a pressure wash than a dry and good wax. my car stays out 24/7/365.

We do it for love and mean the best. It responds by treating us nicely in the corners.

Try some 3M Hand Glaze- it will restore red nicely..

Your car's name is Bruce? Reminds me of a Monty Ptyhon bit-

In beeg's native accent: "Hello, My name is Bruce. This here is Bruce, Bruce, and Bruce. Welcome to the group, Bruce."

Yah, you're a dumbass for sure. At least you know who did it to your car. Not like my dad's car last night at the movie theater. I came back to the convertible top, windows, and side of the car covered in 2 quarts of USED motor oil. yay.

Hi, My name is Geoff, and I'm a light-red coloured Porsche owner...

I have to do a 3 stage polish on my car every 2 months to keep it the cherry colour it should be, and even then it doesn't look good. I've gotten to the point where the paint is getting REAL thin, so I will need to repaint my car soon.

MMMM...the joys of guard's red paint with no clear coat.

Fancy name for one of those automatic washes where the only thing that touches the car is liquid.
That's why I thought it would be safe!!

OK
Meetings at 1000, up at 0600 to see what I can do to fix the car. 2 1/2hrs later he's back to close to how I had him before. Lesson learned!

Never, ever bring your car to a car wash.
Ask the guys over at Autopia . They'll help straighten you out.
