...less than half their price, but still more than twice as much as they are worth IMHO.

Has anyone actually noticed a difference in handling after installing a strut brace?

I am still looking/waiting to find out where to pick up a DP brace and hardware. I have seen postings and they are beautiful IMO.

Is there really a big difference between the different manufactures? Outside of esthetics? Are there things like weight, torque/flex and materials to take into consideration?

I can say that I have never seen this discussed nor seen in catalogs outside of "Keep your cars wheels seated firmly. Use X product and you will!" Anyone? Input would be gratefull.

I will pay a more for a part that has great fit and finish. This is one of the better looking STBs I have seen for these cars!

The dynatech pieces are great, I run both their camber plates and strut brace, when they make more parts I'll run those!

i was thinking about having my buddy at the machine shop make me one since he owns it. Maybe i can convince him to make a order of 10 of them if the price was right since these aren't hard to make at all. of course i will get mine the price of metal but u guys he probably wouldn't charge that much

How much are they without the discount?

And how much for the camber plates? (Why aren't there any prices on the website?)

The retail price is 350, there is a special going for $25 cheaper and if you buy a pair there is a larger discount to $300, I just emailed them asking how much more of a discount we can get if we purchase a larger quantity.

I know this bar is the more expensive option but It has more clearance for both the engine and the hood; its only 3/16 more clearance top and bottom but in a bad situation it would be nice to have a lil more room.

If this doesnt work out I'll get the Kla, but If we can get the price of the Dynatech below 300 bucks it would be much more reasonable.

Hex, I would be interested. Can you ask to see if they would also extend a discount on the camber plates if I ordered the strut bar and the plates together? Any chance of asking to see if they will offer deeper discounts for an order of 5 or 10 (if we can get interest)?
You should clear this John D. before talking to them though.

Thanks!

Yeah, if they can give a deeper discount for a group order, I might be interested. $300 seems pretty high for a strut brace.

With a quality brace, you will feel the difference in turn-in response and also off-camber bumps and lips and such...like going up a driveway, for example...you'll probably feel a slight difference because there would be less flex.

They certainly help...but if a $150 bar feels the same as a $300 bar, I'm not gonna buy the more expensive one. I'm not much for flashy parts. Mainly because I can't afford them. lol.
