There have been a few threads lately about the new Xbox (Live!) game coming up called Forza (release date May 5th). Here's a video with a little bit of 944 action, proving that it is in fact in the game. Looks good too.
Sorry, video quality SUCKS, but you get the idea.

Everyone needs to get this game so we can start a Rennlist car club (up to 100 people) !!

Yeah, the reason they're good is because they're system specific. At least that's what some of the developers/publishers have said, because the teams can focus on pulling the most out of a specific system, instead of dumbing all versions down to fit the weakest system.

There is a big article in Popular Science or Popular Mechanics about the game. They are saying it will be the most realistic racing game ever made. Course they usually say that about every racing game ever made. Anyway, its a pretty cool article.

It is very nice to see a 944 in a video game, but at the same time the video doesn't look like a very realistic driving game. The lack of damage is acceptable, but the cars were hitting walls and going off track without losing much speed.
Also the 944's (951s) were out accelerating WRXs?
Worth a rental, and maybe more.

It isn't going to touch the realism of games like Gran Prix Legends, but it should be a bit more realistic than the GT series. The problem with console games is that you need to make them appeal to a somewhat broad market, so if you designed an ultra-sim game a lot of people are going to be turned off by the difficulty of it.
You can extensively modify the cars, even doing engine swaps and such.
