Default Pulled in to Porsche - Hi All!

Ok, willingly pulled in, but still

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and announce, thanks to my good friend Porschephile 924. We found this sweet little deal on a car that almost seems to good to be true. Barring further inverstigation and harrasment by creditors it will be mine, and I will be joining.

I've loved reading the forums here, and I can't wait to be a part. Here's the post of the car from AutoTrader.com and of course, if I pull it off, I'll just have to show of some of my nice new pics once I get it all cleaned up.

Anyway, thanks in advance for all of your help, support, and community...uh...goodness!

You guys rule!

Yeah...I keep telling him if he gets it, I"m going to do the license plate light trick to gain access and steal em, they'd look great in my 924S!!!

It's a gorgeous car, and I've checked just about everything I can....so far from what I've noticed, it needs the following:
-Timing belt
-coolant hoses (they're all sorts of soft...don't want one to burst)
-clutch pedal adjustment/bleed
-rear brakes in about 4k miles or so
-rear shocks, not important until money is abundant
-spark plugs...plug wires look great...
-can of 44K in the gas tank...

And the car has a couple cosmetic defects, but I mean really, who's doesn't?

Glad to see ya here buddy!!!

Oh yes, and like I said before, if it's yours, I'm buying you a membership when I have the money.

He talked em down a little from that. so, I think it's gonna be $4,750 after taxes, etc...etc... The guy said that because of taxes, the price was knocked down $800.00 to come to $4,750. The car is clean...I was shocked.. Also, now Xagafinelle has the factory service manual, and a buddy who's been workin on these things for 4 years now. Together, there is nothing we can't do. First on the list is the timing/balance belts... The guys at the shop offered to do em, I pretty much told em where to stick it....

Hey, I feel pretty good about it, and as good as it looks, it compares well to cars I could find in the Rennlist pricing charts. Thanks for the welcome, I hope it works out!

I think thats pretty fair of a price. Those sport seats are worth an extra $300-400 so considering that, the purchase shouldn sting too much. There are a plethora of 944s around that are, by most unbiased measures, piles of doody. So I think ya did ok if the paint is any good. Cant tell from the pics.
