Default WANTED: Late cassette box lid, black!

Hey gang!

Well, I've started cleaning up the interior and I discovered the cassette box lid hiding in one of the rear cubbys was apparently from an early car or something...my frame is missing, but when I lay the lid down on top of the box, it doesn't line up with the latch at all...it hangs over the back of the center plastic if I line up the latch.

Does anyone have a black lid available in clean shape? Please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks, but I need the actual LID, not just the hinge. The hinges are a dime a dozen!

Well, here's what I'm wondering.

This lid is from an 86. Will it fit my 88? I don't know for sure. I have a black lid that came with the car, but it doesn't line up at all on the broken hinge, so I'm assuming the early and late lids are different sizes - and my PO grabbed an early lid by mistake or something.

Any info on this? I'm just wondering if "late" lids are 85.5+, or 87-88 (since the year break can be either/or depending on the parts.)

'85.5 to '95 are all the same.

http://paragon-products.com should have them for early and late cars. I'd be surprised if they didn't - too bad they cost over 100 bucks.

UD I've got a full set if you want them. Send me your address and I'll get them out to you. They are individual plates that fit into slots on your existing tray.

I have a black lid from an 88, the hinge is bad but as you say, that is easy to obtain. I'll take another look at it to reassess the condition when I get home, I recall it was in good shape.
