Funny thing is, I just intalled one last night that I purchased from Paragon for $19.95. I think I'm going to start buying at retail and selling high on ebay

I'm with you dude, I bid on THIS until about 30 bucks. Then I went and bought a brand new one for 26 or so. The head w/ the shaft, from Zimms.

Hehe, for the current price of $53.50 is around what I paid at the Porsche dealership to have them cut it using the VIN number. I'm thinking the lighted head was maybe $20, key was around $5 and the rest had to do with the service and shipping, I can't remember all the details, I just remember the blank and lighted head were less at the dealership than on most ebay auctions.

I was just on Lindsay racing's site, and they have the keyhead for $18 and a blank key for $6.95.

Gotta price it before bidding. Some people are trolling for dummies.

Does give me an idea: Order the parts I need well in advance and then list them on eBay at a 50% mark-up. If they sell, then I can order more.

I THOUGHT OF IT FIRST!

Better yet, sell for a few dollars less than what you can get it for anywhere else, then make up the difference and some in S&H.

I THOUGHT OF THAT FIRST!!!!!

I forget who... " let the buyer beware".

Where I used to work they would mark up shipping 33%.. Buncha damn asshats. I'm glad I'm gone.
It's a sleazy business practice.

Mine from the dealership is gold. Heck, it's full color for that matter.
