Replace your vacuum lines

Replace your vacuum lines
I did about 70% of mine yesterday. I just went to autozone and bought a roll of black line and a ton of Y fittings. I think it cost me about 20$ foreverything and OMG.... Doesnt even drive like the same car. It killed almost all of the vibrations and I can hear my engine revving now, not just my car rattling.... It runs so much smoother. As far as performance goes top end is almost the same, but It feels like it pulls harder on low end. Im going to finish it up tonight. If you havent done it, I reccomend you do, those hard plastic lines can break very easily, in fact.. My car had one snapped right in half and I didnt even suspect it.

Call me a nerdy, but I've started doing mine with yellow silicone hose so they stand out in the dim engine bay. I've also colour coded each end and the middle of each line with electrical tape to match the vacuum diagram that has been posted here a few times (Lindsey's ?)

Measure the hose lengths for the actual hoses, buy the 3 or so T connectors when you are at the store buying the length of hose you need, and then replace each hose and connector one at a time so you don't mess anything up. It's a lot like replacing spark plug wires.
On an N/A, this job has a difficulty level of 2. 1 being washing your car, and 10 being rebuilding your motor or transmission.
