They're $9.99 at my local CVS. Only 2 left!! I'm going to ****** one up right now!!

Here is a picture of a white 951 I have.. but it's not for sale (plus I banged it up a bit playing with it when i was young). The hatch doesnt fit right anymore. I got it when I was little and I think it started me off on the right foot. Wish I knew where my parents found it.

Dan,
I could probably pick one up for you if you don't find one since we don't live that far away. I have next week off so maybe we can get together.

I love my 951 model... and no those aren't weld marks on the cat. haha

Alex, look around and see what you can find. I've been to 5 CVS's and all they have is those stupid Ford Broncos. Buy all you can find (up to say 10 or so) and I'll pay ya for them, they will make good 944fest door prizes if nothing else!

Thanks!

That is one of the series of several 1/24th scale 944 metal models offered by Majorette. They are no longer produced, have been discontinued for a long time. They made several variations, including a few cup cars and a red cabriolet. I have the cabriolet, the white cup car, and the green cup car on its way. I am looking for the black cup car. Here are shots of the white cup car:

Here's another fairly rare version, the silver one is a Matchbox "Super Kings" and the two others are the Welly Cabriolets I use for trophy toppers. All of them are about 4.5 inches long, what scale is that?

PS..don't we all carry briefcases and umbrellas in the hatch?

Tifosiman,

That cup car is awesome!! I had no idea they had a whole series. Its a well made model. Probably the best one i've seen. Good thing I have one, even though it isn't in perfect condition.

So nobody wants the extra car I picked up from CVS? I'll either return it or put it on ebay if I don't see anyone asking me for it in the next day or two.

xsboost, what kind of paint did you use for the taillights?

Also, Dan P, We might have to have a modified class race, because it will have to be a drag otherwise. They go straight in forward, and turn left in reverse, only. So we could have an autocross for people who mod them, or they could be good gifts. Or we could just do drag races, ormudbogging, but i doubt they'd last very long in that.
