Marlboro Light menthols and 93 octane. Occasionally leather in the morning if I leave the sunroof vented overnight. Oh yeah, throw a bit of Halston in there as well.

Funny thing is- if I dont drive it for a day and hop into it after closed up for a day- it has the distinct "german car with leather" smell. Atypical Porsche.

My wife calls it "old car smell" like her grandfather's car. Says it gives here a headache but I think that is my driving.

My interior smells kinda good. I remember the first time i smelled it, it was delicious. Every now and then that smell comes and goes. But when one of my friends sat in it he said it smelled exactly like his dads 996 cab.. i must admit i was a little flattered..

all I know is, my 924S smells like any other 80's and earlier Porsche... Brings back good memories of when I was about 7, and my dad had an old 911S (I think 78)...we'd go cruising in this Orange 911 with a plate that said "Sunkist" Wow, what great memories...I also relive those every time I'm near an older 911, and hear it run, or smell it's exhaust..

and it's the smell of...happiness...

Maybe this is the reason that we all love them so much?

Like the inside of a peep-show booth.

Just kidding. Mostly kind of a new carpet / rubbery kind of smell.

Mine doesn't really smell (that strongly at least !) unless you cane it, then things change. If I'm giving it some stick then you get a kind of hot oily smell, its probably just the Mobil 1 sneaking past seals and escaping under pressure each time the engine gets close to the rev limiter.

I like it wouldn't be the same with out it.
