Question Possible bad motor mount...what do you think?

After completing my clutch job (spring center) today and letting the car idle, there is a definate vibration/rattle , but goes away once you come off idle. We lift up on the drivers side motor mount at idle and the sound is gone.

Do you think the motor mount is shot, or both shot?

Thanks,

J

The motor mounts are a very common failure point. If yours have not been replaced before (and maybe even if they have), it's probably time to do them. And yes, it will seem like it idles rough when the mounts are bad.
