Default Running Rich, Gas in oil... bearings screwed?

This is with the black car again. Its rich running problems have gone ape.

Nine-44 and I were wrenching on the blackie and it has sprung a new oil leak so he investigated. The oil smelled heavily of gas. We changed the oil out and on the plug, there was a lot of metal shreds on the plug. Ive been taking it easy on it, shifting before 3000 rpms basically the past month, does anybody think the engine is damaged?

We think the problem is a bad injector, its not the AFM. Any thoughts?

Do a leakdown test, it's cheap.

What do the metal shreds on the plug look like? Color, shape, size.

We could do a leakdown and compression check this weekend.. It all depends on Dr. Boost's schedule.
Is Jason's still on for Saturday?

Sounds like your regulator has gone bad. When I picked up my 88, after doing a little cleaning to try and start, I got it fired up. It ran like crap. Found the fuel pressure was extremely high. Changed out the regulator. Checked the oil a second time and it was way high on the level. Drained it out and it had about 2 qts of gas in it. Been driving ever since and all is good.

Knowing Rock, the metal shreds are probably blue, or at least a dark brown color...

No damage on the engine. I didn't run it no more than 5 or 10 min at idle though.
