Default E-glow gauges

Well for those of us that want better gauge lighting for the 924 and early 944. Speed hut now has listed the 924/944 gauges under the model development program. They are electro-iluminececent gauges faces like those used in more modern cars. We need 18 more orders for them to start making them.

That's really a pretty decent price and product considering the options you can choose. I wonder if they are going to make an 85.5+ with the back-lit warning lights? Just a suggestion, if this is a group buy you would be strongly advised to run it through John D. first, especially this being a non-member 1st post. I'm sure there will be interest but I just don't want you to get off on the wrong foot from the very start; it happens all the time.

Are they considering the two small gauges on the console?

So this doesn't cover 85.5 does it?

It's not really spam. These gauges have been brought up on the forum before. This may be poor Rennlist etiquette, but not spam.

The poster is a long time 924.org member and is responsible for bringing the 944 into play on this deal. Let's give him a mulligan on this one.

Sorry I didn't mean to break any rules. I sent a message to John D.

Just so you know I'm not getting any discount from speedhut. I just want to see the gauges get made. I sent in the tach for the 944 and have been talking with Speedhut for several weeks about having the tach added they finally got it added to the website. I was in a hurry to get it posted to the forum before I left for school and didn't read the posters guide. I'm sorry if I caused any trouble I just want to see these gauges get made.

Kaffine, you sent in the tach with the MPG gauge? ooOOOoo...

Now if we can get the clock and oil pressure, I'm in.

My thoughts exactly. The set isn't complete without the two console gusges. I'll pay an extra $50 for the two small faces.

They are great, please check my Pcar profile to see how they look. Also, make sure you spend the extra $10 to get rid of the stupid SPEEDHUT logo! If you don't its gonna look like crap. They look factory if you do this. Check them out below or at

bumping this to the top...I've ordered two sets, one for my 81 924 NA and one for my 80 931. C'mon folks, we only need 16 more orders to get these made. They're desparately needed on our cars!!!
