My car is posessed
Go to the train the other morning and turn the ignition off. Well at least I thought I turned it off. As I open the door I realise I have the keys in my hand and the engine is still running. I was able to stall it but the accessoriy lights stayed on. Needless to say it stayed that way because I had to catch my train. Then the other night when i get home the car shut off, no problem. Wrong before I get to the garage I hear the radio go on. It turned on again, what the hell is wrong with this car?

Have you said mean things to it recently about how it performed, the paint, etc.?
I once spoke out loud about selling a car and the next day it threw a rod (the engine had been in PERFECT shape prior)... Sometimes they just KNOW...

You know what - last week my car had that wire short out and has left my car in the garage for the past week.... I looked at a car that same day... HOLY CRAP, I just put 2 and 2 together. That's just freaky!!!!!
You need to check your ignition switch or cast out the demons.

I'm throwin a vote for the ignition switch. Either debris or a bad contact is arcing it out and going live from jumping terminals. Like 47 bucks or so.

It doesn't start the car just turns on all of the idiot lights.
Found a new ignition switch in the glove box from the PO. Also noticed the posative battery cable was loose, which leads me to believe that was the PO's fix.
How hard is it to get to the switch???
