Default questions for those with 17" wheels

I just got my 17" 993 wheels for the 951.
What tire pressures do you run???
It is used only for normal daily use.
Also...did you use the stock lugs or have to buy different ones???
Thanks!!!

I have 17" sport classics on my 1988 N/A. I was able to use regular lug nuts but you must check and make sure the lugs can turn on the wheel i certain amount of threds in ( i forget the amount my mechanic told me that it had to be). As for tire pressures a run around 34 in the front and about 36 psi in the rear.

17"turbo twists, no lug problems although i purchased a set of chrome lug nuts for mine.
36psi all around, seems a bit more firm then the stock 16" wheels...
have fun!

The Porsche TSB recommends 36 psi front and back when using 17's on a 944.

Lugs will depend on what year car you have. If your 951 is an 86, then the wheels will not fit without spacers. If your 951 is an 87 or later - then they should fit fine and the stock lugs can be used.
