Does/has anyone here run the Bilstein Cup shocks in the rear with the Racer's Edge lower shock mount bolt? The Cups I have seen for sale (eshocks, Paragon, Lindsey) come with the stock-sized rubber lower mounts. What solutions have people come up with (or bought) for spherical bearings in order to use the RE's lower bolt with the Bilstein Cups?

Cant do it.
Well I suppose you could, but it would require cutting the lower and upper mounting points off and welding on spherical bearing type mounts onto the shock body (do not even think about doing this).
The bilstein setup you are asking about is designed to be used with the original factory bolts.

Bilstein will change the mounts to solid (i.e.; spherical bearings) for you. Just tell e-shock or whomever takes your order what you want. Bilstein will also custom valve the shocks to your spring rate. They do charge extra for these services, but it's not that expensive. I've ordered shocks from e-shock before and had custom work done by Bilstein. E-shock takes care of the whole thing. Their customer service was pretty good and the prices were good too.
I wouldn't use the factory lower bolt if you are going to remove the torsion bars. This was discussed in thread just the other day (may have been on the racing list, I can't recall).

Yeah, I would like to use the Racer's Edge lower bolt, which is a different size than the factory bolt. Hence the need for spherical bearings instead of the rubber mounts.

I don't have experience with eshocks, but Bilstein should be able to provide spherical mounts for both top and bottom. You just need to relay the size of the RE mount.

As far as I know you won't be able to get an off-the-shelf solid bearing in the wonderful size that Porsche decided to use for the shock bolts. Just get 1/2" spherical bearings and drill the hole out.

The issue here is to get a solid bushing with 1/2" ID to fit the RE lower bolt. OE bolt is 14mm. A correct sized shim/sleeve would work to fit the 1/2" inside the 14mm, but you are still left with a not-so-elegant rubber bushing.

The Bilsteins I run have the 1/2" bearings. My "Cup" setup uses the regular Bilsteins struts everybody uses up front, but the rear is a Bilstein SN series shock. Its a racing shock made for circle track cars or something. Got my stuff through the now extinct Morriss Dampers. Works for me. See link below for details
