"Special finish" my ***. Looks like they were repainted in dusty conditions. Or with horribly grainy paint.

Here's another example...

$347 plus $40 shipping for 4 7x15 phonedial rims, without tires, and with that weird paint is very very very over priced. Hold out for some 16x7 16x8 phonedials, with original paint, I got a set and painted them white, they cost me under $347 shipped!

For 300 bucks you can get something like this: http://www.craigslist.org/pen/car/56778724.html

Too bad you have the "correct" offset.

With very nice tires at that!!

He just used a "hammered finish" rattle can to paint those. It's like 3 dollars a can at Home Depot. wow, amazing . It's good for painting stuff that will be outdoors and/or get the crap beat out of it, because the texture hides it well (outdoor lighting fixtures, rakes, a moving dolly, etc.).

Thats not as bad as the guy I saw the other day painting his wheels while they were still on the car. He had carefully taped off the tires, but these were BIG 5 spoke wheels with HUGE openings. He was spraying away with black paint (wheels appeared to be silver originally). When i drove by again, I actually slowed down and looked and he had painted his rotors right along with the wheels!
Its amazing what people will do these days!

Lol. There was a guy who took his brake rotors off and painted the entire surfaces. The things people do these days...

One of my neighbors painted his cam cover while it was still on the engine, made quite a mess. Heheh one time I made a similar mistake... I was painting a rim from my 300TD on the sidewalk (first try ever). I taped off the tire and I sprayed away. When I was done I had a funny pattern of silver paint on the sidewalk in front of my house. Luckily, one season of rain washed it away.

Lots of crazies out there! Anybody see the post from about a year ago - where the guy ArmorAll'd his tires....TREADS and all, and then complained when he lost it into a ditch the rain?
