Wouldnt that be a sight! A Porsche drive in the snow! HAHAHA i bet we'de make the news!

"Local Porsche enthusiasts were sighted driving a caravan in the snow while dozens of motorists were stranded on the roadside due to wintery conditions. These people must really be nuts! Its quite a sight to see these little sports cars actually moving!"

That would be something. I bet we'de be fine with snow tires. I know all the C4/S guys love it.
You are in NoVA? We have a bunch of people there. You should check out some events in the spring! We have been getting a lot of people at our local events! Its really fun.

I'll see if I can borrow one of my neighbors 911's or maybe his 356. If not I'll follow along with michael in my jeep to act as a tow car.

I was just out there with the Miata in the snow. I got a lot of looks from people. I went to an empty parking lot and flung the car around a bit to get a feel for how it handled this kind of weather, and was pleasantly suprised. You have to try to lose control of that car. Of course, the snow tires helped.

The Porsche, however, stayed all snug in the garage. Funny thing about recent paint jobs... you don't want to get 'em dirty...

Snow tires are the best! I have the Winter Sports and those things climb trees! I have to use to parking brake to break loose AND turn my traction control off! (GTI)

Mine are el-cheapo Semperits, that were a left over from the Jetta. But despite that, the car still does very well. So long as there's less than 5" or snow...
