Unhappy turbo transmission leak issues

Hi everyone!

I have had a major transmission oil leak so I bought the soft kit from paragon thinking that it was a gasket...

Couple issues/problems...

1. The standard kit does not have the gaskets for the external oil cooler pump. There are 2 O rings and a very thin gasket for the main body not in the kit.

2. The oil pump has a safety check ball valve that looks like it just goes out a hole to the outside?? This can't be right as it would spray oil all over the place if the pressure was too high?? Maybe somethig came off but it does not appear to be threaded in anyway. The oil pump gear on the diff seems like is is slightly bend too so maybe the the oil was not under pressure at all?

Any ideas are appreciated!!

Thanks

Where is it leaking and did you replace the input shaft and cv output seals?

I don't know where the leak is coming from. While I have the trans out replacing all the standard seals, I noticed the issues with the oil pump.

Most leaks occur at the cv shaft seals, input shaft seal or a loose speedo sensor. I had a bigtime leak that I tracked down to a bad input shaft seal.
