Need help with a jumper... i.e.: How to make?

Any piece of wire will do. I use a small length of fat (think it's 12 ga.) wire as the jumper for the diagnostic port for setting idle - works fine.

paper clips work good too...I was going to say it before, but I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be more complicated for some reason...But if all you have to do is jump 2 wires, then it should be pretty easy.

I use them for jumping pin 14 (green wire) and any ground on an ATX pc power supply to test it sans-computer.

They often have probes or clips of some type, depending on the application.
