Okay, I have to keep her happy, so I took her out for a few days this weekend and got pics at the park, so I thought I'd share.

Yeah, I used to live in Chicago, so I know the feeling. I love being able to drive it, but it's not the same when you can't have the windows down! I like hearing the exhaust roar.

Nice pics...., i know how u feel i am spending a semester in LA and every day that it is nice (almost all the time) i say to myself man today would be a great day to take the roof out and go driving. But hey did not want to risk shipping her all the way from NJ or in the Horrid LA traffic which i have found to be evil.

The black rims and burgundy paint look great together. I'm reconsidering my 944's eventual color to burgundy now...
1) Black
2) Burgundy
3) Navy Blue
4) Dark Grey
...something dark...

My 83 looked alot like you car...ah, such fond memories with that car.
BigRed, a dark colour on your wheels would look AWESOME...I say you should consider non-stock 944 colours, for example the green 944 of the month...that thing rules! Try a different colour!

I love the look of a dark colored 944. Your park pics are awesome!
Mine, well... I'm getting there.
I'm getting ready to paint mine Amethyst, code L39 with silver center Fuchs and winter ATS cookie cutters. Not that far off from LB8Z. It was born a big chocolate bar Mahogany Brown Metallic, but now will be a big eggplant!
For now the only thing that I can hear, if I even DARE open my window in these sub-zero conditions (today was a high of -4 deg F below zero), is my PS pump working overtime, the snow crunching under my tires and my gearbox trying to warm up!
I'd much rather deal with some super cold days, muck and snow than traffic. Yuck. Here is why... Last nights drive home was a total hoot! 2 inches of fresh snow, cold **** sh*t out, and major rallye drive home over the mountain. Just awesome. I don't even want to drive my daily '96 Toy Tacoma 4WD anymore!!! The Porsche was designed to be driven and in the snow the 944 with an LSD gearbox is bitch*n.
After I installed my rear 951 valance last night at work, I got ready to go and the rear hatch just kept popping up! Drats. Did it three times by the end of the driveway at the shop. Fixed that, then two miles down the road the speedo cable broke! Then the radio stopped! The joys of owning a 20+ year old Porsche 944. The way a 944 communicates with the driver in the snow is oh so worth it.
