Adrian, I read your reasoning and I dont disagree. I just wonder where the other 6 people are going. If there is a more knowledgable 944 forum I would love to visit. You can ALWAYS learn something.

From a purely technical ability perspective, I find its very hard to beat the Rennlist 944 email list. There are guys on that board that I would wager could smoke pretty much any of us with their knowledge. Its a shame they won't migrate over here, but it is what it is.

Its not like this is a bad place, hardly... as far as web based forums go, I believe this to be the best place. Its just that the signal to noise ratio mentioned by Riff exceeds the level that some folks care to put up with, but as tifo mentioned, thats the price of fame.

Rock on with yer bad selves!

Regards,

Just like with cars somebody is always faster.

Rennlist is 1 of 3 Porsche forums I visit daily, all have there pluses, Rennlist forum board being the largest has more chit chat and nothing wrong with that. Rennlist email list has a wealth of info also with less traffic.

The other 2 sites I can get the same info I need without the OT stuff.

All have there place and uses for me.

I just wish some of those guys from Stuttgart would join this forum and set us straight every now and then. Surely some of those guys are retired by now and have nothing better to do.

Hey Pete or John, is there any way we can get some pull and get some factory representatives on this forum?
