Default Im having a blonde moment... how to remove washer nozzle?

I am trying to replace my worn out and dull washer nozzles and cannot for the life of me find how the are fit. I do not see any type of release lever under the hood like every other car on the planet... Am I just missing it? Thanks...

from the top meaning push them up and out of the engine compartment, or push them down into the engine compartment? Shall I pry them up gently, or push them?
Thanks, oh by the way.... a hammer is my next option~

You squeeze the bottom of it (under the hood) and pop it out of the top of the hood.

Like Cyrus says, squeeze the pressure tabs together from beneath the hood with some pliers and they should pop right out.

I've removed them from 3 different hoods now and it seems you never know if it's gonna come out easy for ya or be a severe PITA.

I had to pry one set out from below with a screwdriver to come loose, but then it got stuck. I found out there was some rust formed and that was preventing it from popping out. I had to carve away the little chunk of rust to get it off. no joke.
