Default Need help finding a ROW part for a 959

I'm looking for a Valve in the turbo system that I need for my sequential setup. I can't find enough info on RX7s or Supras to see if those would work for me and non in salvage yards even close to me to go look.

I'm looking for part# 959-110-573-04

I know some of you guys have ways of finding stuff...

I called the dealer, the guy was a yaehoo and said that in PET it had an "E" by the part# meaning it's no longer available. I've never seen or heard that and I worked at THAT dealer???? Also in the parts dept too. I may try another dealer tomorrow too.

If any of you guys could help me out it's most apreciated! I checked parts voice already, no luck and didn't find a salvege 959 listed.

TIA, Andy

I'll go into the dealership this weekend and ask 'em about it. I SO want to see the look on my regular parts guy's face when I ask him for a 959 part.

Call one of our sponsors, Alan Johnson Racing out of San Diego. They always had the top end P-Cars and they were pretty nice guys to boot... From what I remember they used to pamper to the 911 crowd..

Wow, thanks Porsche. A high end, very rare exhaust valve (I assume like a wastegate on roids) from a damn 959, and its only $100. And how many basic simple run of the mill 944/951 parts cost WAY more than that? Freaking typical.

Time to save up for a 959, maybe all the parts are cheaper.

Getting a price is one thing. Getting it in your hand is another.

Actually, I have a list price of like 76 bucks from a 2001 priceguide, the dealer told me like 86 bucks. I found it in PET, it's on the secondary turbo system on the intake side. It's an Impco style check valve so the primary doesn't backflow to the secondary. I aprecitate the help guys, I do need to find this part..

I picked up a PCNA price guide for 2001 when they threw it out just for reference. The exhaust gate or exhaust brake is almost 6K just for the valve from Porsche. I found a more efficient valve for this for 250 new, it will be harder to regulate because it's butterfly style.
