I'm haven't seen any of these vacuum kits on line. Could somebody please post the links to these sites? Also, I want to look at getting the lines from my FLAPS and doing it myself. For those of you that have done I would appreciate the details in terms of the amount of vacuum Line I will need, the diameter of the line, etc. TIA ...

Thanks Kevin for the link. That is to the manufacturer of the hoses. To read about the kit I got and to contact MySwiss go to this thread:

Where is the Throttle Position Sensor and is there a way to tell if the WOT setting is working as intended?

The sensor is located on the throttle body at the entrance to the intake manifold. On the Turbo this will be towards the front of the engine.

There is a test procedure in the factory service manual. First you test at the DME connector plug. If no signal there then test at the switch to determine if it is the switch or wiring. I could give you the pin numbers for the 944S DME connector but they are probably not the same for the Turbo.

I'd be interested in just buying a bunch of that vaccum hose and trying to cut it myself. Anyone know the specs needed on the vaccum hoses for our cars?
I need to test WOT sensor!

Jay: The NTC sensor is the blue temperature sensor located near the water temperature sensor for the gauge.

Remember you're pics regarding the Garrett GT install? remember i pointed out those two small sensor that need to be replaced??

Great post Jon! I'm ordering the MySwiss lines right away and i'll do the factory repair manual procedure for testing the other two items once I get my fuel injectors back. Thanks!

Glad to see everyone gettting some good information to keep these cars alive.

Yeah CK, the factory manual has a section on testing the throttle position sensor. That is where I learned about it. Good Luck
