Default Brey Krause install tomorrow

I'm having my Christmas present, the Brey Krause lower front control arm brace installed tomorrow at EuroTire, followed by an alignment-necessary to do this after putting it on.

I'll let everyone know if it does anything, but I will say it looks freakin great! BTW, I'm the first 968 guy to try this, so I'm in uncharted territory.

It does look cool!

Here's a question:

Will the plastic undertray still attach to the car in the back? Wouldn't that brace cover up the mounting points on the cross bar?

Sorry for my ignorance, what exactly IS that? It issomething for the front lower control arms supposedly, but does that go across twh whole front, or for one control arm? I imagine it's purpose is strengthening the chassis/suspension... any info?

I wonder how that combined with a good strut tower bar (the adjustable one that forces the towers apart a bit) would compare to seam welding...

From BK-'This cross brace bolts between the rearmost points of the front control arms. It resists chassis flex at those points, which can occur during heavy braking and cornering.'

ahhh now it all makes sense. I've been looking at the picture at the top and I was thinking it just replaced the stock front cross member so I couldn't figure out what the benefit of it was.

Ahh, now that makes sense. I thought it mounted to the crossmember somehow. Okie Dokie. That shouldn't cause any issues with the plastic undertray then, but it would reduce ground clearance more than I thought.

I'll measure and see if there is a loss of clearance.
