Yellow Fog and smoke lights..what do you guys think?
Hey guys and gals!
We are currently working with a company that produces films and we are doing some tests with the fog light lenses for the 944 Turbo, and S2.
What do you guys think?
The picture you see is a yellow film, and very protective.
We carry the film in clear ( for protection) smoke, yellow and blue.
We will be selling the fog light lenses as a finished product.
Heres a sample picture,so everyone can have an idea of whats going on!
Mind you, these films can be cut to fit any lens for any car and the clear can be used to protect paint on front bumpers and lower sides.
And for us 944 owners you know how the lower sides of our cars are susceptible to damage from rocks and such, this is a great upgrade!
Happy Holidays everyone.
We are putting them on our cars and testing them out and they will soon be available on our website, just in time for the new year.

Yellow fogs are not only legal but a FAR better choice than clear. Lexus has been using the yellow fogs for some time.

Hey guys ,
Good to see theres some feedback!
The pictures do not do them justice they look even better in person,in all colors.
Here is a picture of a smoked lens. There is both a dark and light film on the lens noted,on the photo.
Heres some information on the film.
Its made from PCV Vinyl, and is scratch resistant,it has a cushion effect to protect from rock chipping, sand and so on ,the film is also crack resistant.
Also it is 17-mil heavy duty quality,so they will last a very long period of time.
Like I said before,we are testing them on our cars and they will soon be avaliable on our website for the new year.
Also avaliable for headlights for racing porpose mostly for 911
Enjoy!

Yup, fog lights were required to be yellow in many European countries. Aviator, hunting glasses, photo-filters have are yellow because it increases contrast. Blocks out the blue haze that's relected by water in the atmosphere. In fog, the blue part of the spectrum gets relected by at you, so you get haze and can't see as far as a yellow light. That's also why you see all the ricers with blue-bulbs running on their high-beams all the time, they can't see as far as the normal spectrum, so they make up for it by using higher wattage bulbs on high-beam, annoys me to no end!

I like the yellow fog lights... have always thought that my old yellow hellas were superior to clear lenses!
However.... Why on earth would I want to put a dimming film over my driving lights??? Sort of eliminates the armadillo early warning advantage given by the upgraded bulbs and wiring!!!
