With my recent accident... *see thread WORST NIGHT*... we went looking for some parts when we came across this beast... thought it was too good to part out for the accident victim so we decided to make it the winter project.. even though winter here is 60 degrees and sunny.. i needed something to do...

the rims on these ive never seen before.. anyone got a clue? it has spacers in the front but the rear ones were taken out... (tire was rubbing all over, no wonder we couldnt push it)

the good - cheap, runs pretty well, timing belts just changed, body is strait.. its a 5 speed opposed to my automatic, records past 5 years.. original manuals and warrenty book.. a very cool gremlins sticker..

the bad - no clutch.. very small dent on the fender.. paint faded.. no fog lights..interior trashed.. no hood latch.. no battery.. no door handles..
A lot of useful and useless stuff i found in the hatch and all over the car.. speaker grills.. 2 tire irons.. brake fluid, atf fluid.... odds and ends..

and here are the pics... the final shot a beautiful shot of 2 944s.. both mine.. both not driveable.. aaah i real like a real 944 rennlister now..

Boxster rims-Prob 16x6's. I might be interested in those for the 924S..
Pretty harsh shape. Looks as though they have been sandblasted (or painted without proper prep work done)

All those useable parts in one driveway!! 1 to drive and 1 to race!

The white on those cup/boxter (whichever) rims make them look almost identical to the ones on my friends '97 Z28. Definitely need some good paint work though on them.

Strip that thing down and race it. And keep the rims white, looks decent.

Actually, you are both wrong. They are stock 16" 993 wheels as originally shipped on the 1995 993. They were available in 16X7/8/9.

That appears to be an 85.5 or 86, in which case you will need small spacers front and rear to make them look/drive right.

Matt,
They ARE 1st Gen Boxster wheels, which were also sold on the 993! the Boxster wheels you have shown are not the ones outfitted OE on the 1st Gen Car those are for the later models ..

So you are telling me that wheels from a car that introduced in 1997 some how found there way on to 1995 model cars?

I have looked at dozens and dozens of Boxsters and never seen anything other than this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...513119376&rd=1 doesnt mean it doesnt exist, however.

Another first gen Boxster
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...512738166&rd=1

Can you find me a pic with them on an early Boxster? They would look awesome.
