Unhappy WORST NIGHT EVER *pics*

I was going home from work at around 6 pm. On the turn onto the I-5 some jerk darts in front of me and i brake.. in a turn + no abs + im an idiot resulted in the following.. so we set out to find some parts as the fender and spoiler were unfixable.. we ended buying a car that we thought was for parts.. a 85.5 guards 944.. but after looking it over it was in too good of condition and became out winter project.. more with that later..

here are some pics of what happened... the progress its going through.. and how it looked at the begining and im hoping will look again... look at my next thread for what the red one is.. oh man!

Sorry with your luck bud. I've been through the whole wreck+fix thing. Its hard finding parts but its well worth it. There is nothing like fixing your car and driving it aftewords.

Then agian there is nothing like driving a porsche! The experiance is worth it alone.

Looks very similar to what my car did after I was in a fender-beder about 3 years ago. I also had to get a new fender and spoiler. I bought a new spoiler fro Ian at 944online.com, he seemed to have the best deals on them, something like $395 back then. All of the used ones I looked at were in sore shape so I sprang for a new one. I managed to get a used fender from a fellow Rennlister for a good deal. Best of luck to you, and let us know how everything goes.

1) I'm so glad you are OK
2) Sorry about your car
3) You have a good positive attitude and it sounds as if you picked up a nice project
4) Might want to think about changing your username... The Porsche gods may be making an example of you :-)

Take Care,
Cory

Well hey! that'd surprise the hell outa me, coming home and having the car fixed like that. that's AWESOME! and your dad is one hell of a gentleman and a scholar for having that done for you.

Glad to see you're allright, and the Porsche is getting there!

That sucks getting shafted by someone else's bad driving. Nice that it is all fixed though.

On a side note, if thats what your worst night ever looks like, you are leading a blessed and wonderful life.

WOW that really sucks my man...But If I kept my rims that dirty, my car would probably crash itself because it was so pissed off at me...!
