Vinyl Race numbers
I am looking to get some vinyl race numbers for my car, because I love to autocross, and eventually do some DE's. My paint looks like crap, so why not throw some vinyl on there. I had someone who was going to make some for me but I can't get them to follow through. Does anyone have the Cup Car numbering decals? a scan? otherwise I am just going to go with something basic. Does anyone here make vinyl numbers? and can do it reasonably?

Do you think that could be done for the stoneguards too? I'm trying to find someone that either carries or can make black ones kind of like I've seen on a few 911 targas. It'd look great on the white 951 (I've played with it in photoshop).

The guy I had before, said he could do magnetic for $60 for 3 and vinyl for $25 for 3, these both include the hood, he was making the kind that you see in the 911 in the last pic. I was hoping to spend something somewhere around that.

The vinyl costs $36 per roll, so for $36 pick a color and I will cut anything you like. Here are the numbers I put on the NA for the last autox.
I can do about 14" x 8 feet.

hmmmm, do you need a special machine to cut the vinyal, or could i just buy a sheet myself? I kind of want to go with something more complex like the ones above though...

I was all thinking about also mocking up this decal on my own instead of shelling out the money for one, and seeing if I can cut it myself, is that possible?

Its cut on a "CNC" type machiene with a blade for a cutter. It works off vector (autocad) type files but I can convert images and they come out good as long as they are large enough.

I use ADOBE Illustrator and download free fonts. I then can make them any size I want then I print the numbers and letters out on paper. This gets traced on contact vinyl (the stuff that you can line your kitchen cabinets with) and cut out with an exacto knife. I also bought some magenetic material to do the same thing with. Best of all the material is cheap.
