The previous owner did not have a clue as to what viscosity
oil he used in changing the oil. So I will be changing the oil
as well.

Ok. I've got the flywheel lock. I'll try to remember to call you tomorrow so we can check your crank pulley.

Sounds great Geoff!
I should be home most of the day.. have to pick up my
son at 2:50 from school. But will be home right after that.
Car is still in the driveway. Torque wrench ready.

Any chance of borrowing the oprv alignment tool over
a Sunday? working at a dealership I have every Sunday off.
If not then I may just buy one.

Hey Thad!
Given my profession I tend to want to keep all my cars running.. little easier since I have most of the tools to do so. Your car will need alot more work to
get the 5speed conversion done.. but I am more than willing to help.

I am fine with wrenching in the dark.. have a drop light and as long as you know what we are looking for we are good to go. What size is the nut that
holds the oprv? I brought a general array of wrenches with me.. I could pull it,
if it does not require the tool to do so, during the day today.

Sorry to say I can't join ya today man... But gimme a call...I PM'd ya my cell number. (after 3...in class till then)

Thanks for the link!

Geoff.. in a wierd twist of irony.. I had completely forgot
I had plans this evening myself. Maybe Sun. We can try
the crank bolt.. if you are available. Since this is not a
high priority fix as it is not my daily driver it can be put off
until we can both hook up. I would prefer someone who
knows how to use the tool to be with me.

Awesome. What is the best tool for removing the oprv? Wrench get in there?
Does it need to be a flexible head wrench or just a standard?
