Update on what I will have for tomorrow.
Also I talked with a very respected VW tech
about the oil pressure issue and the head not
getting enough oil. He suspected the oprv is stuck
or bad.
I will have my wrenches.. esp the 24 mm,
a digital oil pressure guage.. may need to get
the metric fitting if I need to use it.
my dvom for testing all electrical connections
including the oil pressure sender unit.
Torque wrench with the 24mm socket to test
the crank bolt.

Thad.. if you are not busy you should swing by!
Geoff.. please let me know if you can get that tool
for the oprv. Although if it is bad or the seals are
bad that may lead to a quick end to the day.

I'd bet it's a stuck valve, and it's not looking like I can borrow that tool for tomorrow. I wish I had one to help with, but sadly I don't... I doubt it, but do ya think autozone sells them? I got a clutch alignment tool from them for $10.00

Ok.. not seeing the tool available at local auto parts stores.
Is there another option instead of using the tool?
