The reserve was met today at $7000.
I wanted more but heck its hard to get that for a n/a no matter how nice it is. Im satisfied though, just got to get paid for it now.
Here is what i need now, im going to throw some money on the 7K and want a nice 87+ 951 no more then 75K miles Red or Black with all BLACK interiour. Service records and timing belt waterpump etc done recently. Let me know if you guys know of any nice ones.

Its going to be hard to let the car go but ill look forward to the next one, thanks for all your help.

Wow, I am considering selling my '87 NA. I assume you sold it on Ebay from your reference to the reserve... any chance you could post your description/pix here? I can't access Ebay from work and my home PC is on the fritz. Thanks if you can, and congrats. $7,000 sounds like excellent money to me.

Wow, link to the auction again?

That's amazing that you got that on ebay, I'm surprised! You had a very good ad though.

That's great Antonio! It was a nice car, but I think you will enjoy the 951. I will keep my eyes open for you.

I spoke to the buyer today, nice guy, picking the car up saturday.
He had a 84 and bought it new had 75K on it before his son wrecked it. He is excited to get it and ensured me it will get a good home because he is a big Porsche fan and used to have one.
Iv been in the garage today about 10 times looking the car over, hate to see it go.
However i have been looking forward to the search for a nice turbo, 1st choise is red second black. Hopefully ill find a nice one that is solid.
I do get to drive it one last time saturday when he will pick it up. Ill take some pics.
Anyway heres the link to the ad.

I actually would have looked at your car SERIOUSLY were I close to my end of lease. $7000 is on the high end for an 87 but everything I can see from the pics and description defiinitely warrants this price and I feel the price is a "good buy" for the new owner. How many times have I said it, but you cannot duplicate unmolested originality. It costs 5 times the price to restore worn originality to perfection than it is to buy original perfection in nearly all cases. Its preventive maintenance at its finest.

Beautiful car. Looks extremely straight and tight.

Definitely a beautiful car. "Meant to be driven, not polished" mainly applies when you have an ugly POS like I do. :-\

Still going to be hard to let it go...

Now what should i look out for in a 951? I am pretty familiar with the n/a but not with a turbo.

Know the feeling Serge.. I think that is a very fair price, hopefully KBB will notice it.

Congrats Antonio, I'm sure there are many of us in the area that could help with the turbo search. If you ever need any help let me know. I may not be the most mechanically inclined but for the most part I know what to look for.
