Default A few pics from the Indy Get together last night

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming out even though it was dark and chilly. About half of the group had a pretty decent drive, so that was cool they made the trip to hang out, eat and race go karts. I have no pics from fast times, just a listing of peoples times:

1st Heat
Bryan 27.235 (my friend I brought along)
Sam 27.702
Max 28.055 (macnewma)
Dustin 28.567 (Thurston)
Jerad 28.624
Mark 28.735 (Szalaiy)
Mike 28.926 (Murcia)
Antonioali 28.993

2nd Heat - some of us had to go again
Bryan 27.203
Max 27.715
Sam 28.127
Jerad 28.402

Bryan had the 12th fastest time of the day overall, but they spelled his name wrong in the 2nd heat so they list him 2x on the Top 20 of the day. #12 and #13. I was 20th and Max was 21st.

FWIW- Whoever buys Antonioali's car is going to be very pleased, that thing Is very clean. Very nice guy. Lets find him a turbo once she sells

Everyone else, I had a blast as usual- good seeing everyone again and hope to see you guys on the 11th for round 2

Enough already, heres a few pics:

I just want to thank Mike and Sam and whoever else helped organize this. It was fun time. Lots of good people. We need to get more people together in the spring. Hopefully we can pull some of the Ohio, Chicago, KY, MI, etc. guys too. We need to get reservations at a restaurant though as places are tough to find with seating for 8-10.

Yeah, the 7:30 Friday time isnt the best to try for a large table. Oh well, the place Max suggested ended up being damn good. I didnt even know it existed.

I know Mike took some pics, not sure about anyone else...maybe his are better!

They are powdercoated Ronal's. They look really good on Zermatt.

It think everyone had a good time. In spite of my poor showing at Fastimes , I had a great time.
Only a couple of my photos came out ok. Lighting was really an issue. I'll try to scout out a spot for pics for next Sat. night. Unfortunately, without knowing a total head count beforehand (nearly impossible), dinner reservations are tricky. But, like Sam said, there are plenty of places that can serve us. Thanks to everyone who came out. Here's what I got:

Thanks to everyone who helped set this up. I had a great time, especially the karts even though I was a little slow.

Mac, thats my Zermatt 951 with powdercoated Ronals 16x8 & 16x9. Glad you like them.

Man i had a great time, it was fun having that many 944's in the same spot. When Mike pm'd me early friday saying they where going to gocart afterwords i thought they where nuts. I didnt really feel like going to a family fun center but little did i know this place was huge. When you get in you have to watch a 6 min video before you race, put on a overall, neckbrase and helmet. Only 8 min races but your arms gets really tired and hands almost lock up. And those wheels sam has are very sharp and unique
Anyway had a great time and i will try to make it for round 2.

Chris, the karting sessions were $18 for 8 min, but they charge you an additional $2 for a head sock rental. We're planning on doing it again on Sat, and it's definitely a good place to relieve some stress and have fun (something everyone on Rennlist could use lately).
