Tifo is right, there was no 75 Carrera RS. They were Carreras and were produced in coupe and targa form. But, it was possible to get a 74-75 Carrera ROW car with the RS's 2.7 MFI motor with 210hp, same motor as in the 73 Carrera RS. The 74-75 Carreras that were sold in the U.S. came with the 165hp 2.7 with CIS. That would be the reason for the owner of the car listing the engine case number in his post.

Thanks for clearing this up Mark. I guess my brain is still functioning. Yesterday when I read the post I thought that was a late model year for an RS. Woodside is just up the road from me so I am alerted but I doubt I will see it. If it is the car you describe with the 210hp engine I am sure the jerks who stole it aren't out joy riding. In his post the guy says he thinks he kows who did it and refers to a her, ex wife problems perhaps?

If someone wants to infer something that was not meant, that is their problem.

You are a fine one to lecture about maturity. Do I need to list all of the issues I have with you?, ie: almost running over a row of cyclists on the road, making derogatory comments about my car and Pete's car at various gatherings, and so on, and so on.

I dislike Porschephile 924, almost as much as I dislike you. He's not so bad because I don't have to see him in person at local PCA gatherings, and worry that he is going to run over someone or something that I love.

Ok, There was 3 times I have been around cyclist in my car with you and I cannot remember ever being dangerously close to hitting any of them. The same goes for talking about your cars in a purely negitive manor.. Maybe you can elaborate?

I'm with Sam..... By the way, there are other topics out there worth arguing about... like S2 vs. 968!

So Please, take your personal arguments off-line...

wow...if that's all I did to get disliked, you must be a hard person to keep happy....I don't recall any other major arguments... I'm glad I'm not in your PCA chapter...

Carry on! I'm done with this thread, but I'll keep my eyes peeled in Colorado like I said before...

Thats OK Geoff, I think you add valid content.. us 924S guys gotta stick together.

Now about those stimulated sheep... thats just wrong, treating fine mutton that way. It it then "tenderized"?

I feel for having a random crime happen to someone, being the recent victim of such an event- I hope he gets it back REGARDLESS of what it is.

BTW, FWIW this pissing match is just plain dumb and makes us ALL look bad.
