Question Sticky Clutch

Well I just got a new Sach's spring centered clutch into my 84 944 .. and I noticed a strange symptom. When the car is off and I push the clutch pedal in and out it's perfectly smooth like it's supposed to be. However, when the engine is on (even when the car's in neutral) and I press the clutch pedal in and out it feels sticky. The car is still driveable, but there is a definate difference between the feeling of when the car is off and when it's on. Any idea's what the cause of this could be?

maybe you need to flush and bleed the clutch hydraulic line

It's either bleeding (most likely ) or it's time for the master and slave cylinders.
Bleeding shouldn't be too hard if you have a few wrenches and a friend to help you out.

Yeah, just get a ramp or jack it up, a can of brake fluid, wrenches to remove the starter, and a hose to connect to the bleed valve. Fill the brake fluid resevoir, slide underneath, pull the starter off, ghe bleed screw is on the back of the slave cylinder, just put the hose on that, turn the wrench so the valve opens. while it's open have your buddy push on the clutch pedal. fluid will come out, close the valve, have your buddy pull the clutch pedal back up, then repeat. MAKE SURE THE BRAKE FLUID RESEVOIR STAYS FULL...

it's a cake job. I did that last weekend with no issues..
