Default Somewhat OT carrera GT

This is just a quick rant. I was channel surfing and they had some nice cars showing on MTV. This rapper who has mass amounts of money, was showing off a carrera GT and he was stating how it had over 600 hundred horse under the hood, and pointed to the front hood!!! It is a mid-engine car!!!! morons, why is it that the morons can afford sch beautiful pieces of machinery, while the ones who have a true passion, can't. i just find ignorance irritating. It is still an absolutely beautiful car.

I happen to know someone who I consider to be a good friend, who owns a Carrera GT. He isn't a moron, and is quite an enthusiast. He also has a 550 and a 73 RS 2.7.

I personally don't know if I want a CGT... I would much rather have a 993 TT that I could take out and drive how I want and not have to worry about breaking something and spending $25,000 to fix a seat mount...

Now before anybody yells about seat mounts not being that expensive, I was just throwing that out there. I know for a fact if the seat mount breaks in your enzo that's what it costs to replace it. I saw it on a show on the Speed Chanel

That'll happen when Tifo changes his name to Eric.

Nah, no one has driven the CGT, it is still "in the wrapper".

The 550 is not drivable at the moment, the motor is out, and the car will be sent out for resto soon.

Eric did get to drive the 959 for an upcoming episode of "My Classic Car" on Speed, but that was a special occasion. (I was over there on Sat and the car still has dirt on it because it was driven in the rain for the taping of the episode. .

I can fix this. Id wash, polish, and wax it for free. I have extensive "expert" experience working with graphite.
