Default Happy Thanksgiving- and DRIVE SAFELY!

I just heard on CNN that 25% of the american public will be traveling 50 miles or more in the next 48 hours.

Be safe, signal your intentions and be courteous. Be wary of the weather and give others plenty of room. drive defensively, as there are a lot of people in other vehicles who ARENT as good a driver as you are.

DONT drink and drive.

Be safe and have a great holiday everyone. Remember, the journey is the adventure- the destination is the comfort.

Also for us SOW guys, be very careful on I-71. Saw a nice news spot interviewing the OSP and how they with the help of local patrols are stepping up enforcement of speeding and following distance during rush hour and other times. The program is something like 7 weeks old, but it was a nice fyi.

I am taking the Turbo on its first real trip today (300 miles north). Its only had about 50 miles on it since I put the new head in so wish me luck.
If anyone needs me, or Rennbay stuff, I will be back around on Monday. So pass on the good word

If anyone is in the Gainesville area and wants to hang out over the weekend while I am there just give me a ring at 954-445-6437.

Here's a website to check for possible speed traps--though I'm with Chris that everyone should drive carefully this weekend!

when asked what you're thankful for, make sure to add in the list "My Porsche"!

Happy thanksgiving and be safe......remember to give thx not only for your porsche but your family friends and loved ones.

Now my off topic rant..... I have a 21yr old stalker who has a 4yr old kid....I cant win....for that Im NOT thankful.

But anyways...have a great thanksgiving.

AND I HAVE TO WORK. No days off for good behavior in my job.

fty: get a guard dog as a present to yourself this holiday, and park your car in a secure place... I had a stalker... it sucked because my BMW took the brunt of the abuse (I had to park outside and didn't have a dog). Don't let it happen to you!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Rennlist bretheren. Special props go out to my SOW homies.

It may sound corny, but Rennlist is one of the things that I am truly thankful for. Withouit it, it would be difficult to keep, maintain, and indulge my passion.

Be safe out there guys. But have fun.

Yes, Happy Turkey day to everyone and drive safely.

While driving on a local 2-way road this afternoon, an older model Suburban approaching from the opposite direction spun out and was about to take my car out with it's rear-end. Yes, 1/2 the car spun into my side of the road as the truck oversteered on the slick roads. Luckily, the lane to my right was open and I was able to dodge that heap of metal. It scared the cr@p out of me afterwards, when I had time to think about what could've happened to us.

So keep an eye out for oversteering trucks and arrive at your destinations safely.

SM: Glad you are ok! That's pretty crazy... were the road conditions bad? Were you in the Porsche? hope your ride back from the holidays is less eventful!

Oh yea, guys.. safe travels. At work tonight, I had a record number of reports of "severe turbulence"- That is when the drink cart makes dents in the ROOF of the airplane. It is a LOT better to be sitting by a fire, or even stuck in traffic than on board an airplane pretending to be a shake-n-bake bag. The whole east coast stopped, Detroit getting snow, delays everywhere. Lots of folks are spending T-day eve sleeping on an airport couch. What a great way to welcome the busiest travel day of the year!!

Thankful to be home sitting by the fire with a cold beer and a warm family..
