Big Red Mounting questions

Does everyone trim or just remove the dustshield all together when doing this? I couldnt get the calipers on with the dustshield on...

Remove altogether, good time to add brake ducting like Broadfoot's backing plates.

I removed the dust shields completely when I had them. I was going to put the Broadfoot Racing cooling plates.
