Default Removing "PORSCHE" Decal stricker. How?

Title says it all. How do you remove the decal sticker that is between the lights and the rear bumper. Any easy way of doing this?

The easiest way is with an eraser wheel. You can find them at a body shop supply store.

All it is, is a big round piece of special rubber....I usually attach it to my die grinder.....They can be purchased for about 10 to 20 dollars.....

Failing that, a heat gun or hair dryer to get the decal flexible enough to peel off, followed up by some mild acetone to remove the adhesive.

A pressure washer may work as well.

I tried to remove some pinstriping off an Acura. I bought the Astra air tool with eraser wheel. Maybe it's a paint thing but that wheel burned straight down to primer on the first touch. I'm thinking maybe the pinstripes were actually painted on at the factory and not a decal. Since then I'm afraid to use it on anything I value. The 1/4" air tool still makes a good die grinder and buffer though so no great loss. I'd try a heat gun first following by a paint safe solvent.

When you sand the car down, you will only take it down to the primer, right?

If the decal is old you'll need a heat source and lots of time.
