Default Whats the going cost for a 944 hood?

I am talking about a hood in perfect condition .

Also what would the cost be to get the hood painted?

Nope...

However mine is not perfect and I would like to replace it and was wondering what the cost would be.

Is your beyond repair? Might be cheaper to have yours fixed than to buy another and have it painted.

Just a thought

is the the price of a 944 hood or the price of a 944 IN the hood? theyre probly about the same either way.

seriously though i think it might cost more to ship a hood than the price. picking one up would be best. i hope you plan on repainting though. unles you ahve a rare color like guards

I know. I just couldn't help myself.

I'm sure it would be cheaper to fix yours and repaint it.

A good 944 hood should sell for abotu 150 bucks, TOPS. Problem is that no one is going to want to ship it because they are expensive to ship. Then factor painting, etc. By the time you are done having your professionally repaired and repainted would probably be cheaper.

Matt, I disagree. Unless you pick one up at a really desperate junk yard.

I will say about $400 for a really nice one including shipping is more realistic, from someone like Kempton, in FL.

I will sell ANYONE the hood from my 951 for 300 bucks. If you think they are worth 400 my price is more than fair. I have seen dozens sell through ebay for less than 200 bucks. Hell 150 would get my the 931 hood I want and add 100 bucks to the 400 and you could have a nice CF unit. I guess price varies by location.

Hell, I've got one sitting in the garage that I'd sell for $150. Needs paint but??? Shipping would be around $125-150 inside the US.

I'd like to see Leadfoot work on a CF hood, just make a mold out of the stock hood. My buddy's trying to do that for his Corolla Levin.
