Default For Sale - 16" Snow Tires Dulnop 205 & 225

I have an excellent set of Dunlop Winter Sport M2 snows 205 & 225/16 for sale. I had a deal with a local board member for $225. I think he got a set of wheels with snows on them. I want them out of the garage.

Here is the history of these tires. I bought the wheels and tires in the summer of 2003. When my red S2 was stolen in September 2003 I sold the set to Gelefsky. He was getting new GM cars to use all winter and put very few miles on them. The tires have maybe 3,000 miles on them from what I was told. They look as good as the set I have on the Z28, which have 2,000 miles on them.

He sold his 951 shortly after I bought the gray S2 and sold the set back to me. I got a set of used Dunlop summer tires for the 968 rims.

If anyone is interested, say the word. I also have a set of D90s, very clean, dont know if I will need dedicated track tires so if someone wants those rims, just say the word.

Yes,
It has the LT1 350/5.7. I bought the car last september when it had 32k miles on it. The prior owner put in a hypertech chip an thremostat, callaway cold air induction and msd ignition. He also put in lingenfelter sway bars, Hotchkiss strut tower brace and lower control arms, slp stage II springs which lowered the car about an inch (they were the optional springs on the SS Camaros and WS6& forehawk firebirds) a bigger panhard bar and bilsteins revalved by Doug Rippie Motorsports. I think I forgot something.

The prior owner never took it out in bad weather, the muffler shined like the day it left the factory. all the mods are bolt ons and basically what you could get from the factory a few years later.

I replaced the brakes in march when the car had 36k on it, in september when it had 39k I replaced the optispark ignition which is the cars achillies heel, the wires & plugs which the book puts down as something like five hours, PCV, fuel filter, battery, fluids etc. the parts alone were ovr $700 and that included a $650 optispark I got for $320 from a dealer in florida.

The day after the opti was replaced i took the car to cinci and got 23mpg at about 15 over the limit.

The car needs nothing. I put in an alpine in dash cd and four alpine speakers right after I bought the car.

When I bought the car it had 17" chrome rims. they were too stiff for the street with the bilsteins. I sold them and bought a set of brand new 16 take offs with brand new rubber from an 02 firebird from SLP Performance, I also have a set of dunlop snows on 02 camaro ten spoke 16 rims and the original rims and all the original parts.

The car is rare because it has the six speed and low rear end ratio option. that means the transmission is the T56 from the viper because chevy couldnt get enough so they bought a bunch from chrysler. since the car doesnt have t tops there are no squeaks or rattles.

oh and yes it does have the 5.7 and it looks like a clean six month old car.

I may lease a GTO since the deals are so good. Thats why I am thinking of dumping the Z28.

John,
I am five miles from JFK and can meet you somewhere or bring them into the city one day. I work downtown by the federal buildings and ground zero.

Chris, I may drive just for the $400 I get for the wear and tear on the mullet and my back. I just found out about it today but am not too keen on leaving the baby again for a week considering the managers job Ive been buttliking for for the past two years may not be filled when the manager in the lowngeyelind office retires next year.

Those tires are great in the rain and snow but I dont think I even put 900 miles on them.

Tom,

I have to go to southern MA next week, so I could probably pass pretty close to you then. I'm not sure exactly which day yet, but I'll definitely take the tires if you can wait.

Thanks,
