Imagine Auto
If anyone is looking for a good source for parts, especially the harder to get ones or the small parts that no one seems to carry,, I've had very good luck getting them through Imagine Auto lately. Try giving Ben Wornall a call at 913-310-9927 and tell him you are from Rennlist. Ben is a Rennlister too, and Imagine Auto is a Rennlist sponsor. They are looking at doing more to support the 944/951 folks, so give em a chance, they are good guys. Their prices aren't always the cheapest, but the service is excellent and they come through with their deliveries.
In the interests of full disclosure, I have no financial interests in recommending them, but Ben and Stephen Kaspar are friends of mine, so I may not be the most objective person you will talk with about them.
Regards,

I'd say mid 30's, but judging how fast his employees are causing him to pull his hair out, he'll be 50 by January, right Ben? lol
Stephen, by the way, just completed a rebuild on his engine and made a BOATLOAD of hp out of his 996TT. I'll let Stephen decide when its appropriate to start posting the results, as he was just in the tuner shootout in Vegas and can't broadcast the info yet, but its unreal, even more so when you realize that this is his daily driver. The results of the shootout are supposed to be published in the Excellence mag that hits the stands in Dec. We just need to get Stephen, John at Vitesse and Tim at SFR to have a 951 shootout! We'd all win!

Scott, you are too damn nice. Stephen is in his mid thirty's...and has experience beyond his years. True, give me a call, and I'll try to get anything and everything. We're looking at doing some group buys-so let me know what to look for!
Thanks again, Scott

Mid 20s! I love YA!!! Heck the video was probably 10 years ago. I am in my mid 30s and feel like I am in my mid 40s. LOL. Its pretty bad when people stop carding you (like 10 years ago)

I second Scott's opinion. They are the best people to work with. And they are damn good at finding uber weird electrical problems!
Stephen - I just noticed you had a screen name on here!!! I can't wait to see the new Excellence. I also can't wait to see the new shop!
Ben (or Stephen) - Can you get me prices on the wires on the sensor side (the ones that are all torn up), from the connectors to the sensor. I need to get those replaced ASAP. I would imagine it involves taking the sensors out to remove the end that connects to the sensor???

I have been around here since PorscheFans, then PorscheList then Rennlist. Its been a while. Drop us a call and we can chat about the patient in question.
The sensors are trashed. The end on one is gone and the other has shattered housing. The sensors will need to be removed as well as a partial wire harness repair. It will need to be pulled back somewhere near the brake booster. That shield wire is shot. I don't say that often either.
