Default '77 924 FS, just has to go

I'm running out of room, and do not have time to work on this car right now. it's a '77 924 with 35069 original miles on it. The car is in solid shape, the only place that i can find that really needs work is around the sun roof. the wheel wells, shock towers, and batt compartment are all very solid. the interior is not in the greatest of shape by any means. this would make either an awsome parts car or a fun restorer if you have the time. the engine is not frozen and turns over easily. I'm asking $500 for it, but i want to get rid of it so i would take almost any offer at this point. It will be pickup only and it will need to be hauled away. here are a few pics of it.

you can contact me at

or pm me here.

I'm located in NE indiana outside of Fort Wayne about by about 20 minutes.

let me know if you have any questions on it.

if the price is high, let me know or offer what you think is reasonable, like i said before it's taking up too much room right now and i dont have the time to put in it.

With all due respect, I don't think that the 35069 miles that are showing are the original miles. Maybe 135069.

wow, it doesnt look to bad actually. the engine looks kinda dirty but at least its the kind of dirt that looks like it would come off. unlike mine that will never come off because its all been cooked on there and stuff.

If i had an extra garage space for it i might think of actually making this thing into a daily ride.... but my only space is ocupied by my 944.

for 500$ im sure someone will gladly take it though.

good luck

Do you know why it doesn't run?

why it doesn't run, well it's sat for between 10 and 12 years. seriously though, here are the reasons i can think of. It has sat for that long which isn't good for any car. it was setup to be stored before it sat so the fluids (except for gas) look to be in good shape. from sitting some of the wiring needs to be replaced, the ground wire from the batt is definately one of those. there are a few vacume lines that were cut (dont know how) but probably will not stop it from running but would benefit being replaces or fixed. as for any 1 specific why wont it start, just havn't had the time to put into it to get it running. to be honest if someone did a good tuneup on it and flushed the gaselines i would bet it would start, but can't guarantee that there might not be anything else wrong. anyway feel free to ask any more questions or if you want more different pics that's fine too.

I need to find a cheap car that runs. If that thing ran I'd buy it today.

I would like some pics of the problem area by the sunroof and the interior. Also I would need a CLEAR title for purchase. Let me know thru the forum, P.M., or email.

I am still interested and I think I even have a trailer lined up!
