rice or nice?
I'm looking at getting an audi pretty soon. I need the AWD to get to work when the snow gets here. anyway there are some amazing looking audis i have seen recently and i was wondering what you guys think of this. I normaly would see this and instantly think rice but after looking at this car a few times its starting to look very nice to me. this person has obviously done some very expencive time consuming work on this car. I think it is defenitly NICE. I love german cars (especially Porsches) but right now being only 19 i think i really need something more practical than the 944. especially here in wisconsin were your lucky if summer falls on a weekend.
anyway what do you think rice or nice? keep in mind this is an audi not a neon/cavalier/eclipse. this car actually has some serious *****. twin turbo V6.

actually i should also mention, im still not 100$ on if im selling my 944. thats only IF I HAVE TO. like if the money i could get form the 944 is all i need to be able to get my new car. but whta i would like to do is pull the engine, put the car in storage, reseal and re-gasket the engine in the basement over the winter then put it back in in the spring. then it will be drivable for another 100k probly.
then I'll be like most people that use theyre 944 as a OTHER car and not a daily driver.

hehe thanks, i figured the first post would be a huge RIIIICE thing, now i dont feel like such a fool.

I personally think the audi is NICE. i'm about to turn 18 at the end of the month and my 944 is keeping me broke. So i can understand the practicality issue. but if you have the money for thataudi i think you have the cash to keep your 944 up

hehe yeah its not so much a money thing, even though that will be a big factor. but i always have people in my car and i have always really wanted a back seat and 4 doors. I'm entering into a career that will actually make money and i figure for now I shoudl get something else. a few months ago all the money i would have made would goto getting a turbo but man turbo's are SO expencive (parts wise) and for the same price of modding a turbo i could have a nice NEW one of these that looks really sweet.

That Audi really looks good. I think it would take a lot to make the new A4's look ricey. Definately go for it if you can. I would take one over a comperable BMW any day. S4 vs. M3 is a different story.

Deifintely not rice! People really need to learn what this term means. If a car is modifed and it adds performance, then it is not rice.

hehe no im not looking at buying THAT one or anything . I'm actually in the market for a S4. but they have the same body mostly. but yeah i plan on doing things like what you see above.
