The car you posted above is a B6 A4, which does not have the twin turbo 2.7T engine. It has either the 1.8T or the 3.0 V6. Judging from the pics, it is not the V8 B6 S4. The earlier A4 body, known as the B5, had the 2.7T engine in the S4 model. Otherwise that bodystyle had the 2.8 liter V6 (12v in '96-'97, 30v in '98-'01), or the 1.8T (base engine, '97+).

The Audi you posted definately looks very nice. Keep in mind though, regardless of Quattro awd, that car will not move in the snow with those 19 inch rims/performance tires/suspension lowering.

can i offer some advice? not preaching or anything, but if you're looking for an S4 at age 19, i think you might want to rethink. meaning, money...money...money. i bought two porsches in my mid twenties without having the liquid cash flow to keep them up. hence, i am paying off about $20K in credit card debt right now from their maintenance and repairs. the 951 was awesome, but didn't really justify my expense.

anyway, bottom line is make sure you can PAY for what you purchase. consider your future and keep it reasonable. you don't want $20K of credit card debt hanging over you when you've got a wife, two kids, and a house to pay off.

just my little "looking out for ya" speech

hehe i know I've had to think this over and see if i can actually find one for the right price. I will probly end up with an A4 but if possible and S4 would be nice. I have seen S4s go for around 10k with not alot of miles on them. those people obviously got really lucky but Im going to spend some time looking for the perfect one before i spend anything.

and what are you talking about... being in debt is 10 kinds of fun!

Youre 19. You have your whole life to get a nicer car. Concentrate on what really matters...whether its school, a career, whatever. At this rate, you'll never be satissfied, always wanting a better car...you can only go so far and still afford the phone bill.

An S4 for 10k? Please let me know when you come across a deal like that again. I thought they were in the twenties at least. I am definately not talking about the new ones. That woud be a lot of car for 10 grand. How would an e36 m3 stack up to an s4 of the same year?
