Default My old car in Practical Performance Car magazine

A colleague of mine from the UK sent me a copy of Practical Performance Car Magazine.

Their buyers guide for the 944 shows large full copy photos of my old 944 that I sold when I moved from the UK to the US. The '83 NA is shown in my avatar

Now I just wish my current 944 looked as good....

Thanks!

I haven't seen any cars with that interior in the US, but did see a few in the UK. I think most US cars came with leather.

Man, it would be so cool to see my car used as an example in a magazine article... but for now, the only magazines my car can qualify for are classifieds. Thanks for putting up the article!

Hey, what is that material on the center consol around the shifter? Is that a metal plate instead of carpet??

160 mph?
Wow.
I'm about 25-30mph behind that number!

My eyes hurt from trying to read the tiny print! Cool article. And funky interior! I thought my former 944's grey plaid was loud!?

AndyK, I have bigger scans if you want to read it more easily. I was trying to minimize the file size.

RMills, when I owned the car it certainly was carpet, and knowing the guy I sold it to, it probably still is, just cleaned up.

Yeah the article isn't very good about splitting up the Turbo and N/A models.

Jake,

Will see what I can do, they are on my home PC. I will either email them or have them hosted somewhere, so that you can download them.
