Bought these replica CUP wheels from e-bay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I don’t think they are Mille Miglia, since the spokes seem to be slightly smaller. They almost look like the CUP wheels from a 968. The back of the wheels are stamped made in Japan, and offset 14, 15. They also have a stamp P.C.D.

They look like 968 wheels but those were only made in 16" sizes to my knowledge.

I think they made them in 17's too, but these are early offset, and replica's.

How does one get a 215 wide tire mounted on a 9" wide wheel???? OTOH, 90 lbs for a set of wheels and tires this size is amazing!

They look like Borbet Type T wheels, except Borbet wheels are made in Germany and would have Borbet on the back of one of the spokes. PCD is "Pitch Circle Diameter", or bolt pattern. Probably. I guess I'm not much help.

I don't think the front wheels are 9", the 215's fit too well on them. The wheels are probably closer to 8-8.5. From lip to lip they measure close to 9", but I think the actual measurement is supposed to be taken from the inside lip.
Oh, and the set doesn’t weigh 90lbs. I don’t know how he weighed them, but the actual numbers are about 9 lbs heavier then my Fuchs. The front wheels with tires were about 45lbs each. Still not bad in my opinion.

Thanks for the PCD info, didn’t know what that stood for.

i'd go even farther than amazing and say impossible. tires are like 20-25lbs each so i don't think you'd be able to get anywhere near that. now 90 for just the front or rear would be pretty good
