yeah and we got him a lil bodysuits that says stroller today-Porsche tommorrow! I'm up at riley now visiting and they have 2 comps in the waiting area. The swelling of his his intestines has went down remarkably, I'm hoping that'll allow them to put it all back in and sew him sooner! I was astonished when I came in tonite to see him. Tnis is the first time chelsea has been able to see him, she didn't get to see him at all after she gave birth to him. she's getting around well for having a c-section wed. She says she was motivated to get out of there to see him though. Again thanks for all your support, I think this will all turnout ok in the end, it highly appreciated. Later, Mike

Welcome to the best and most stressful job in the world- Dad. Nothing can compare to walking along with a little guy holding your hand. Congrats, and hoping and praying for his improvement and for his Mom and Dad.

Congrats on the new boy. That's great. I hope you all are doing well soon. Yeah, the Dad thing is pretty serious but I wouldn't trade it for anything I've found yet.

Best wishes, and congrats!
You may think putting intestines back inside a person is bizzare...but that's what they did to my wife (and yours) during the C section! Hopefully all goes well with the little guy, and all you have to worry about is how you function on 3 hours sleep!!

Congrats on the new addition :-) I joined the baby boy club on the 13th of last month. An ultrasound indicated that we had to take him 2 weeks early. There were no problems and all is well. Modern medicine is simply amazing.

congratulations. bringing babies into the world is what i do, and it's really the best job ever. cesarean sections are really fun to do (at least for me they are) and most moms are really motivated to get up and take care of the baby. most want to leave the hospital in two days.

i hope your son's surgery goes well. it's really scary to think of your little tiny son having surgery, but pediatric surgeons are very good. how much did he weigh? why was your GF getting stress tests anyway? b/c of the gastroschisis? sorry, just curious. good luck and we will all be thinking of you and your family.

Congrats to both you and your GF. I have two sons myself (14 and 8). Being a dad is great. All you need to do is give kids love and a sense of direction in life (which is not the same as giving them all that they want). Parents should be able to project an image of stability for their kids. It make them feel secure enough to explore the world and learn, and discover things on their own. Give them a reason to believe that home is a good place to be and there will less chances that they'll fall under bad influences. Finally respect them and they'll respect you.

Good luck and I hope for a speedy recovery!

lol dont let him become like me (lazy, "slow", dependant on the TV, same but computer, and odd.) <8- ) try and learn another language to use around him because its easier for a baby to pick up 2 languages.
