Congrats Mike and Chelsea! Parenting is the BEST job I've ever had. You guys are in our prayers for a speedy recovery. When you do get home, my wife and I found the best feeding routine was for us to alternate the feedings. She'd get up for one, and let me sleep and then I'd do the next. That way we were each getting a few hours of undisturbed sleep. BTW did I mention that it is also the most terrifying job, this little helpless person depends on YOU for everything. Talk about feeling important. Good job guys!

Come on, it only gets stressful when they hit their teens!

edit: spoken like a man, eh?

Congrats! Now you get to buy all those cool toys you never got when you were a kid!

Don't remind me, 2 boys, 21 and 17. Between the tickets, accidents, and vehicle repairs, I'm about to die young. Hopefully they learn from every mistake like we all do, I guess that's a plus.

As the father of a three year old son and twin premie girls ( born 12 weeks premature) I can say both CONGRATS as well as I feel your stress levels! My girls were in the NICU for 2 months and 3 months ....and if you search you'll find that I am still dealing with one who's back in the PICU....it's tough but I would not trade it for the alternative!

Best Wishes!!!!

Congrats! I just had my first child six months ago and the ripe old age of 40. I would have done this much sooner if I had known what a joy it is to have the little one around.

joe, yeah we knew about it real early and she was getting level 2 ultrasounds every 2 weeks ans stress tests weekly. the last indicated that his heart rate was getting when she would have contractions so they took him early at our local hospital. He was supposed to be born up here at IU which is next door to riley. So they had to send a specialty crew down to get him and bring him here. They are doing the surgery as we speak, it's amazing how fast the swelling went down. Yeah tom got the onezee. A friend owns a trophy shop and is making us plate for his stroller that says my other stroller is a porsche. Thanks again guys and I'll keep you posted!

Congrats,

I have one son, 2.5 years old and he LOVES Porsches. Loves sitting in them. Whenever we go somewhere and I spot a Porsche and go check it out with him, his response is "WANT SIT IN THE PORSCHA, WANT SIT". One time I had to grab him, because if I hadn't grabbed him he would have climbed into this guys 911 cab, but hey, the guy did leave the top down and was asking for it.

He also says "NASTY CAR". I don't know where he got that, I just say "NASCRAP"

Also, my wife is eight months along with a girl, so we'll have one more female on this board soon
