Default FS: '89 3.0LS2 motor

I've got an '89 3.0L 16 valve S2 motor with 160K on it out of a car that I parted that is just sitting around so I need to get rid of it to raise money to buy a new porsche. I was told the car ran strong before the car got wrecked. I have no records on the motor so I have no idea what has been done to it. This is a complete long block with intake and exhaust manifolds. I thought I'd give you guys a shot at it before it goes to ebay or I part it out. Asking price is $2500 OBO. If you have any questions post here first so I can answer it for everyone who might be interested.

I thought you we're going to keep and and find a body for it?

Thanks again for the hatch. It's perfect.

Keeping it and buying an '88 or '89 to drive while I rebuilt it was the original plan but I've since decided to get an S so that plan is now obsolete and on top of that I don't really have enough money to build this motor and buy a car.

Does this include the complete wiring harness and computer?
Complete clutch and bell housing?
Any oil leaks?

Ken it does include the entire wiring harness ( I just unplugged all the connectors), DME, clutch and bellhousing. The bellhousing does have a crack in it which I assume was caused by the accident. The motor has no oil leaks that I have seen. I can take some pictures if you are interested.

I appreciate the offer pete but right now I've got no car to put tires on which is why I need cash for this motor to put towards a car.

I just checked the motor again while I was taking pics and there is a bit of a leak from the oil pan/oil fill tube on the drivers side of the motor. Hard to tell how significant it was since there has since been coolant spilled there as well but it didn't look too bad. At 160K I'd reccomend at least putting new rod bearings in and while you're there a new oil pan gasket should fix most of what's leaking.

Pictures will be sent out in a little bit to those who have requested them.
